Today, we are proud to announce the establishment of the General Incorporated Association, Japan Quantum Computing Association. Our Association is dedicated to pioneering the future of quantum computing, with a specific emphasis on talent development and certification in both quantum annealing and gate-based quantum computing.
Quantum computing is a key technology for the upcoming digital society, and we are committed to promoting its widespread adoption and evolution. Specifically, we strive to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research findings and the needs of the industry, playing the role of a mediator between academia and industry.
Our Association offers an educational program that covers everything from the basics to the application of quantum annealing and gate-based quantum computing technologies. This allows companies and research institutions to acquire the quantum computing skills they seek. Additionally, through our unique certification system, we endorse these skills and establish a position as a quantum computing specialist.
We aim to contribute to the sustainable development of the digital society by providing more people with the skills and knowledge needed to break new ground in quantum computing. We also hope that Japan will become a global leader in quantum computing.
We have already completed the pilot operation of the certification for both quantum annealing and quantum gates, and have completed the distribution of certification and certificates to several successful examinees. We have also received requests for the certification system from many companies and are advancing the participation of knowledgeable directors and the recruitment of regular corporate members. We are already accepting applications for initial regular member companies, registration for individual certification systems, and completion programs through short-term company training courses.
