Subject
We are now mainly working on Quantum Computer / Computing and Machine Learning. And also we are doing optimization on time evolution on adiabatic process.
ML Model
We are adopting Tensor Network model both on simulator and frontend machine learning model on quantum circuit.
For the gate model we are doing QCBM (Born Machine). And for annealing model (basically it is on D-Wave) we are doing Quantum Boltzmann machine.
Programming Language
Now we are using mainly on Julia and use python for daily use.
About intern
Mainly at the moment we are doing online.
What you do during internship is to learn about quantum computer and machine learning.
Of course everyone has different stage of knowledge, we have short interview and decide what to do.
Required and recommended skill for intern
Basic knowledge about quantum computing and quantum circuit is required.
Basic skill of python is required. Basic skill of Julia is recommended.
Basic knowledge on VQE/QAOA/QPE/QAA is required (very basic knowledge about VQA and Universal).

Basic knowledge on Tensor Network knowledge on MPS is recommended.

If you have interest on photonics machine, we also have research and SDK on photonics like GBS and machine learning use.
What we offer
Two to three weeks opportunity of intern.
$1,000 payment for online intern fee.
Quantum Computer machine time for intern including D-Wave, IonQ and other machines.
What you do during intern
Find a subject what you have interest and research/study on it and make simple report.
Julia is recommended to use for research now.
Place to work
Work remotely is recommended, and we prepare blueqat cloud to do experiment online. We provides machine time through blueqat cloud to do report.
Report can be done on the blueqat cloud ipython file.
Business
We are now working on actual social problems using D-wave quantum annealer and IBMQ/IonQ gate model machines. Basically the subject is on machine learning (not usually on discrete/combinatorial optimization) using probability distributions.
At the moment we are preparing for hiring Ph.D/Master this year.
